How do I get Recognition of Prior Learning?
The TAA40104 RPL Information Kit will provide you with guidance on what evidence you can collect to prove your current competencies. You will also be able to contact your friendly Corelink Coach to ask for advice at any time.
Enrolling in this program means you are seeking RPL for your current BSZ40198 competencies. You will want to learn the new TAA competencies via distance learning with support from your personal Corelink Coach. You will receive fortnightly one-on-one telephone coaching.
It is important to note that the old Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198) has been mapped across to the new TAA qualification. This mapping has identified some alignment between BSZ98 Units and TAA04 Units for which direct credit may be granted. However, direct credit will only be granted where the applicant can demonstrate recency and currency in the specific Unit of Competency. Corelink accepts 20 hours of assessment and training in the last 6 months as meeting the requirement for recency and currency of competence. You may want to view the TAA Mapping Guide that details the relationship between BSZ98 and TAA40104 Units to help you determine your eligibility for RPL. Questions?
