Funding

Funding is available for Certificate IV Qualifications. Several of Corelink’s courses are also approved for Austudy support by Centrelink.

Organisations may have the opportunity to access up to $4,400 per student learning the Certificate IV in Frontline Management. Contact us to find out more.

Corelink can implement these nationally recognised qualifications either via a Leadership Development Program, through a Frontline Management Initiative, or through public training courses.

Your local New Apprenticeships Centre can advise your organisations on their eligibility for financial assistance from the Commonwealth and State Governments.

The Frontline Management qualification is a nationally accredited program specifically designed for supervisors, superintendents, managers, team leaders and leading hands.
Corelink Training Manager, Ivor Lok, says “This funding is very real and very accessible.”

“The government is recognising the important role supervisors, managers and other leaders play in Australia.”

“Anyone responsible for a training budget should find out more information by calling us right now.”

“Corelink can help manage the administration and substantially reduce the overall effort required by your organisation.”

Corelink has flexible training and delivery options available to help your leaders to be competent and confident.

Funding is also available for people learning other qualifications like the Certificate IV in Business Administration.

The funding has been designed to help organisations to develop their people. In most states the Commonwealth Government is willing to consider the Certificate IV in Frontline Management as a traineeship and therefore it attracts Commonwealth Government funding when applied in this way.

We sign up your Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors, Acting Supervisors, etc. for this Adult Traineeship. The term of the Traineeship is two years. Your organisation receives funding after an initial two month probationary period and then again on completion of the two years. The total is $4,400, per participant.

This works out well with Leadership Development Programs. Of course, the participants can leave the Traineeship at any time (they’re not locked in). Another consideration is that any Leadership Development Program participants who have a Degree or have received a Cert IV traineeship qualification in the past 7 years do not attract the funding. However, in my experience, these people are clearly the minority in your industry.

The beauty of the funding is that we can add the Leadership Development and Frontline Management benefits into a new or existing Change Management Strategy and most of the costs of the entire strategy can be covered by the funding. We organise all of the administration, communication and funding for you. We simply need a company representative to ensure the administration of the program is communicated and followed up internally, and to ensure the Government’s requirements are met.
